    A woman at work has aske that we start collecting bottle tops to get a friend of hers a free wheelchair. Ive heard somewhere that its a scam but she believes its genuine. Can anyone shed any light on it?

  7. There are many scams going round. But I don’t see how what she is asking of you and your coworkers a scam. She is just asking for bottle tops which you could find on the street on any given day. If she were to ask you for money that’s’ another point. I would ask to meet her friend.

    some one mentioned saving things for boy scouts and such – those types of things are real – companies offer $$ for scouts, school, etc. Schools have been getting money for years for campbell soup labels – there is a mission center in west virginia that actually gets vans to do mission wirk with by saving campbell soup labels – there are other programs – labels for education – and others –

    but this one seems silly – like the saving can tabs for dyalisis and kidney patients –

    i hope your friend will look into this alot further – so she doesn’t get hurt in the process – it’s sad when kindhearted people are used by misinformation –
